Used by customers to browse items, place grocery orders, track deliveries, and manage account details.

Glide Staff - Store Management App com.glide.staff

Used by store pickers and staff for order processing, inventory barcode scanning, and store operations.

2. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

Account Profile Data: Full name, phone number, email address, profile photos, and delivery addresses.
Identity Verification Documents (Glide Partner): Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving License, and Vehicle Registration (RC) for driver onboarding and background verification.
Financial & Payment Data: Transaction histories, payment modes (Cash on Delivery / Online Payments), and wallet payout details.

B. Location Data (Foreground & Background)

📍 Disclosure for Delivery Partner App (Glide Partner)

Glide Partner (com.glide.partner) collects location data (precise GPS coordinates) in both the foreground and background (even when the app is closed or not in active use). This background location data is used exclusively to:

Dispatch nearby delivery orders to active delivery partners based on real-time location.
Provide real-time order tracking updates to customers during live orders.
Accurately calculate distance-based compensation and delivery payouts.

Background location access can be toggled on/off at any time via the "On Duty / Off Duty" toggle inside the app or through Android system settings.

C. Camera & Device Permissions

Camera Access: Used by Glide Staff for barcode and QR code scanning during product picking and inventory adjustments, and by Glide Partner for uploading KYC document photos.
Storage Access: Used to attach document photos and store temporary app caches.
Notification Permission: Used to send push notifications for incoming delivery assignments, order status updates, and security alerts.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information for legitimate business purposes:

To fulfill grocery orders and provide instant 10-minute delivery services.
To verify delivery partner identity, perform KYC compliance, and process payouts.
To calculate route distances and optimize dark store dispatching.
